Consultation for Te Atatū South town centre plan

The consultation for Te Atatū South town centre plan runs through till 10pm Monday 3 December. We are looking for ideas to revitalise the town centre as well as feedback on ideas we are proposing.

The community and stakeholders can have their say in these ways:

 Go online aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/haveyoursay, to see more information and give feedback  

Or during our drop-in session on 26 Nov from 5-7pm outside Countdown Te Atatū South

You can also drop a written form off at the Te Atatū South Community Centre – Grey Power (M-F, 9.30am-12pm) and Heart of Te Atatū South (HoTAS) in the activity room (Mon, Wed, Saturday, 9am-12pm)

Friday 16th November 2018 5pm-8pm. Come help celebrate the Te Atatu South community Centre's 50th Jubilee and have your say on the future of Te Atatu South. There will be a great selection of food trucks, music, entertainment, prizes and heritage display. 247 Edmonton Road, Te Atatu South. Come and enjoy the fun vibes.

Term 2, 2018 : FREE CODE CLUB - COMPUTER PROGRAMMING FOR KIDS 9+

Weekly 1-2 hour STE(a)M - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design, Mathematics - workshops for intermediate-school aged kids (9/10 to 13/14 year-olds).

We want to encourage kids of all stripes to combine their imaginations with an understanding of and passion for programming and problem-solving, empowering our next generations to take their incredible inventions to the world!

If you have a personal computing device, such as a laptop or tablet, please bring it, as availability of computers cannot be guaranteed.

Whanau M8s - FREE PROGRAMME for 7 - 13 years

FREE!!!! Afterschool Sport & Physical Activity programme for children aged 7 - 13 years of age.

Whanau m8s is a community after school programme provided by Sport Waitakere, Henderson/ Massey Local Board, Move It Youth Leaders and Student Leaders from Rutherford College. The purpose is to provide FUN, inclusive activities for children of OUR community to encourage appreciation for Physical Literacy

Heart of Te Atatu South Festival

Save the date for the annual HOT-AS festival in and around the community centre. 

 A free fun day for all ages. Foodtrucks, music, entertainment, markets stalls, rides and surprises through the day.
